The car
A Ferrari F12tdf (2015), as named in the 2020 press coverage. Physical, singular, indivisible. It cannot be split; it can only be owned.
- Collector vehicle
- Not on-chain itself
Special situations · Case file · Vaduz
A collector car, a Liechtenstein issuer, an ERC-20 token, a wrapper and a dissolution order that was later lifted. Every layer has its own answer to the question: who owns what?
In liquidation, 2023
Still on-chain, 2026
The structure
Scroll down the chain. Each layer is a separate legal or technical object, and each one fails differently.
A Ferrari F12tdf (2015), as named in the 2020 press coverage. Physical, singular, indivisible. It cannot be split; it can only be owned.
The Liechtenstein issuer behind the car token. Its prospectus, dated July 2019 and published on the FMA website, has since expired. It predates the Blockchain Act (TVTG), in force since January 2020.
An ERC-20 on Ethereum. Whole units only, a hard cap, no decimals. The car became a ledger.
In November 2023 the registry dissolved the issuer ex officio and appointed a liquidator. A year later it was renamed, given a new board and a new purpose: participations in the value of collector vehicles. In February 2025 the liquidation order was lifted. Same token. In 2025 the company resolved to move its seat from Vaduz to Zug, where it is registered as 731 AG.
A wrapped version of the car token, with two decimals. And a multisig vault, named ct1investhubag.eth, that holds both and settles redemptions on-chain.

Amtsblatt 189646 ↗What it unlocks
What a properly structured asset token can make possible. Whether it does depends on the documents, not on the token.
Units can change hands without the car changing garages.
Release capital from a collector asset without giving it up entirely.
Units split cleanly where a car can only be argued over.
